i read the first volume of the monster wants to eat me back in april, and i was really in awe by how beautiful it was: i know very little about comic composition but the composition made it flow really well, the backgrounds and characters were so beautifully drawn that i lingered on every panel to fully drink it in, the monsters were drawn really well, and the coloured pages were GORGEOUSSS. i was a bit nervous for the anime because i wasn't sure if the visuals would match up with the manga, but i was pleasantly surprised!! i wish the colours were slightly duller like the cover of the first volume of the manga, but that's nitpicky...

also, the music was EXACTLY what i wanted from the anime and the voice acting was also perfect and exactly how i imagined the characters would speak!!!!

i still think that the manga will be the best way to experience this story, but the anime will just make the manga more popular!! which im happy about!!!

if you're into horror, watch the first episode or read the manga!!! i promise it's amazing!!!!
